VHS-C video tape and camcorders were introduced by JVC in 1983 as a compact version of the VHS tape and reduced the size of the camcorder significantly. A TC-30 tape will play for 30 minutes in NTSC SP mode and 90 minutes in EP mode. VHS-C tape is ½-inch wide and cassettes measure 9.2 x 5.8 x 2.0 cm (3-2/3 x 2-1/4 x ¾ inches). Most consumer video tape formats were replaced by DVDs in the late 1990s.

GreentreeAV thanks for the great work transferring our VHS and Umatic tapes to h264.mp4 files on flash drive and scanning our Slides to tiff files on Flash Drive. Best,

The DVD arrived Monday. The conversion looks good [from a very poor VHS]. The tracking is now solid and all the tearing of the picture is gone. Satisfied.

GreentreeAV recovered a water damaged Hi8 tape to acceptable statdards. This was more than we could expect. Also did the same with a challenging old 3/4" Sony umatic tape. We highly recommend and appreciate their work on these. thanks, John, Elmira NY New York 14901

Our most important VHS video tape would not play. I sent it to GreentreeAV and they made the transfer to file for download. My family couldn't be happier to see beloved family members again. This was exellent service and I would recommend to everyone. thanks, Josh

[Re. moldy PAL VHS tapes] Thank you. Everything downloaded properly. Exellent, considering the poor condition of the original material. Thanks you! All the Best.

I didn't have high hopes fora moldy VHS tape and Super8 films from the 1970s. GreentreeAV did an amazing job. From answering all of my questions to cleaning the tapes and providing beautiful memories of my Dad and family. My family is so happy with these :) I will be sending them every old film and tape I have. Thank you so much!!!, Evelyn in New York.
